A passionate artist early in life, Elke Riedel was inspired by a friend and fellow painter to immerse herself more fully. Whether color-laced or grayscale slashed by white and black, Elke’s work is unmistakably her own. “While painting I often follow my emotional instincts and spontaneous impulses, but sometimes I spend many hours studying and reflecting until I find the angle that eventually leads me to the right outcome,” Elke says. “Only then can I lean back, relax, and enjoy what I created.”
