You were trained as a lawyer. What inspired you to move into photography instead?
Law, of course, was a field where I could be touched by people‘s problems very closely. However, after
graduation, I decided to use my legal knowledge to help people in a different way. By illustrating their
problems photographically, I hope to increase awareness. Now I am able to show these images to the
broader world, especially to those who wouldn’t usually notice the plight of marginalized sectors of
society.
